Plus, to the extent you’ve been able to deal constructively with this feeling, how have you managed to re-establish and maintain a more healthy balance between surviving the day and focusing on what is truly important in life?

I've found great solace in riding my bike. Being able to escape the day, even for just a bit has allowed me to pause and reset. A simple ride will take me outdoors, often with close friends that allow me to approach the day or week with a fresh perspective. It's has been the little things that help me through it all.
