In this space I share what might be of value for my own growth, for others to cultivate their own character, and for the creation of true community. Our purpose in life, today, is to develop the qualities of our souls and use these qualities -- which include knowledge, love, and the strength of our wills -- in ways that contribute to the betterment of society, pulling more (and more)of us together in unity. A Bit About Mr. B...
Looking back over my life, so far, what has pulled it together -- within one coherent whole -- is community. This coherence began more than 30 years ago when I began coaching soccer teams(something I still do!), continued with my career teaching high school social studies, and lives today in my efforts to bring people together, heart by heart, united through the Teachings of the Baha'i Faith. This Faith, the most recent of the world's independent religions, was revealed in mid-19th-century Persia for the purpose of uniting all of humanity throughout the world as, gradually, we learn how to live -- aligned with the truth that all of us are, really, members of one extended human family -- in material prosperity and spiritual peace.
